Laser welding single station (single station laser welding workstation) is an independent and closed single machine automated welding unit, which is different from multi station assembly lines; Manual/robotic loading and unloading, positioning, welding, and process monitoring are completed at the same workstation. It can be produced independently or connected to a production line, and is divided into three types: platform type single station, robot single station, and precision sealed single station.
1、 Core components of the whole machine
Laser generation unit: fiber/pulse laser, providing welding energy; Equipped with a chiller for temperature control and heat dissipation.
Execution motion unit: multi axis CNC platform/six axis robot; Can be paired with rotating displacement fixtures to achieve flat, circular, and spatial surface trajectories.
Welding process unit: Welding head (optional swing welding head), servo wire feeding mechanism, protective gas path (argon/nitrogen).
Visual and monitoring unit: CCD coaxial monitoring, red light positioning; High end can be equipped with melt pool monitoring and weld seam tracking.
Control unit: PLC+touch screen, storing welding process parameters.
Safety protection unit: fully enclosed laser protection cabin, safety door interlock, smoke and dust purification system, emergency stop module.

2、 Basic process functions
Multiple welding modes support spot welding, continuous linear welding, circular arc welding, circumferential welding, sealing welding, and irregular curve welding; Pulse mode is suitable for thin-walled precision parts, while continuous mode is suitable for thick plate deep welding. Swinging the welding head can achieve beam swinging, improve the bridging ability of the weld seam, reduce porosity, and adapt to difficult to weld materials such as aluminum and galvanized sheet.
Material compatibility for welding stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum alloy, copper, titanium alloy, supporting welding of some dissimilar metals; Optional wire feeding can compensate for gaps and improve the quality of weld formation.

3、 Positioning and Visual Functionality
Red light pre positioning: project red light before welding to quickly check the position of the weld seam and facilitate debugging.
CCD coaxial visual monitoring: Real time observation of welding seams during the welding process without the need to open the cover; Support taking photos and archiving big family lasers.
Optional visual positioning compensation: The camera recognizes the actual position of the workpiece, automatically compensates for workpiece clamping deviation, reduces tooling accuracy pressure, and improves batch yield.
Optional weld seam tracking: Real time correction of trajectory during welding to address workpiece clamping errors.
4、 Auxiliary process selection function
Servo automatic wire feeding: servo push-pull wire feeding, suitable for aluminum and large gap welds, with wire feeding speed synchronized with laser and motion axis.
Displacement machine linkage: Rotate/flip the fixture, rotate the workpiece to weld the circumferential seam, and achieve full position welding.
Pre weld laser cleaning (optional): The same workstation is used to remove oil and oxide film, reducing porosity defects.
Atmosphere protection chamber (precision model): The sealed chamber is filled with argon gas to achieve oxygen free welding, preventing oxidation and blackening of titanium alloy and copper welding seams. It is commonly used for precision components.

External signal interaction: Supports IO signals, can be connected to robotic arms for loading and unloading, and integrated into automated production lines.
6、 Safety and environmental protection functions
Laser safety protection cabin: Level 1 laser safety, enclosed cabin to prevent laser leakage; The safety door is interlocked, and the laser output is immediately cut off when the door is opened.
Smoke and dust purification: Welding smoke and dust are centrally extracted and filtered to improve the workshop environment.
Welding head collision prevention: In case of collision, immediately stop the movement and laser to protect the optical components.
